Omnitura Therapeutics Gets $24M

Redwood Shores-based Omnitura, a biopharmaceutcals firm marketing multivalent drugs for the treatment of cancer, said Thursday that the firm has raised $24M in a private placement. The firm did not disclose investors, but said that the financing includes three changes of funding, including $8M before March 31st, $8M before the end of the year, and $8M before December 31, 2010. The firm said the funding will go towards its operations for three years, targeted at Phase I and Phase II clinical development of its lead therapy. More information »
