Oracle Acquires Grapeshot

Redwood Shores-based Oracle said Tuesday that it has acquired Grapeshot, a developer of brand safety and pre-bid screening products for marketers. Grapeshot's products were used by brand advertisers to avoid unsafe content, and target breaking news and trending information. The company says it provides its solution to over 5,000 marketers worldwide. Financial terms of the deal were not announced. Oracle said it is reviewing Grapeshot's product roadmap, and will be determining future features, timing, and other aspects of Grapeshot's business.
