Oracle Acquires StackEngine

Redwood Shores-based Oracle has acquired Docker management software developer StackEngine, Oracle said over the weekend. Financial details of the buy were not announced by either company, and very few details were announced by the companies. StackEngine was based in Austin, Texas, and was venture backed by Silverton Partners and LiveOak Venture Partners.
