Oracle Buys AddThis

Redwood Shores-based Oracle said late Tuesday that it has acquired AddThis, the developer of social sharing tools. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. AddThis is based in Vienna, Virginia, and was founded in 2004. Oracle said the acquisition will help it provide better audience insight, measurement and reach information to customers, and strengthen its Data as a Service offering.
