Oracle Buys Hyperion For $3.3B
Santa Clara-based Hyperion, a provider of software for performance management, announced this morning that it is being acquired by Oracle Corporation for $3.3B in cash. It said that Oracle has agreed to pay $52.00 per share of its stock. Oracle said that the move will expand Oracle's offering to SAP customers. The transaction is expected to close in April.
