Oracle Buys Moniforce

Redwood Shores-based database giant Oracle said today that it has acquired Moniforce, a firm that provides web application availability and performance monitoring software. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Moniforce is based in the Netherlands. Moniforce's software is used to proactively monitor web applications and web sites, and are used by companies to test and monitor their web-based enterprise applications.
