Oracle Buys Stellent
Redwood Shores-based Oracle has acquired Stellent, a provider of enterprise content management software, for $440M. Oracle said it would offer $13.50 in cash per share for Stellant. Stellant's products are used to manage content on web sites, intranets, and extranets. Oracle said that the acquisition is expected to close by early 2007. Stellent is based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
