Pac-West Telecomm Acquires Texas Firm

Oakland-based Pac-West Telecomm Inc., a wholesale provider of telecommunications services, said this morning that it has acquired Texas-based Tex-Link Communications Inc. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Tex-Link provides voice and data services provider throughout Texas. Pac-West said the acquisition of Tex-Link helps it gains a foothold in the "Big 4" Texas markets of Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, San Antonio and Austin. Pac-West already serves wholesale customers in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, New York and Michigan. Tex-Link will operate as a wholly owned Pac-West subsidiary.
