Pandora Bolsters Board

Oakland-based Pandora, the Internet radio service founded by Tim Westergren, said Thursday that it has added Peter Chernin and Barry McCarthy to its board of directors. Chernin is the founder of The Chernin Group and Chernin Entertainment, and was previously COO of News Corporation and Chairman and CEO of the Fox Group. McCarthy was formerly the CFO of Netflix. The appointments come on rumors that the firm is set to file for an IPO.
