Peaxy Adds $15M For Data Analytics

San Jose-based Peaxy, a developer of data analytics and access tools for the engineering and life sciences area, said today that it has raised $15M in a Series B funding. The company said the funding came from angels, including Federico Faggin. The company has now raised $32M in total. Peaxy is led by Manuel Terranova. Peaxy's tools tie into Hadoop, and the company says its products are being used in the industrial and life sciences areas, including use in predictive maintenance and accelerated drug discovery.
