RGB Networks Hires Engineering VP

Sunnyvale-based RGB Networks said today that it has hired on Charles Corbalis as the firm's new Vice President of Engineering. Corbalis joins the firm from Calient Networks, where he was co-founder, President, and CEO. Corbalis was previously also Vice President and General Manager of Cisco's Multiservice Switching/WAN Business Unit, and has also served at StrataCom. RGB Networks is a developer of network video processing semiconductors. The firm is backed by Accel Partners, Comcast Interactive, Focus Ventures, IVP, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and Mitsui & Co.
