Samba TV Gets $30M For Smart TV Analytics

San Francisco-based Samba TV, a developer of television analytics applications for smart televisions, has raised $30M in a Series B, the company disclosed on Monday. The funding was led by Union Grove Venture Partners, and also included Disney, Interpublic Group, MDC Ventures, Time Warner, A+E Networks, TGM, Draper Associates and Ambition VC.
