Sezmi Sold To KIT Digital

Belmont-based Sezmi, the online video processing and technology provider, has been sold to Czech-based video management technology developer KIT Digital. KIT Digital said it paid $27M in a mix of stock and cash, plus earn out for Sezmi. Sezmi had been trying to create an alternative to cable and satellite TV in the U.S. Sezmi had raised north of $40M in funding for its efforts.
