Asthmatx Files for IPO
Mountain View-based Asthmatx, a developer of a treatment for asthma, has filed for a $74.7M IPO, according to a regulatory filing filed Monday. Asthmatx is looking to list on the NASDAQ under the symbol AZMA. The firm reported a loss of $10.95M on earnings of $355,000 in fiscal year 2005. Asthmatx is backed by Polaris Venture Partners, Menlo Ventures, MedVenture Associates, HBM Partners AG, Boston Scientific, Montreux Equity Partners, and Vanguard Ventures, among others. The IPO is being underwritten by Piper Jaffray, Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., First Albany Capital, and Jefferies & Company. More information »
