Zazzle Adds Third Party API

Palo Alto-based Zazzle is rolling out its services to third party sites, the firm said today, with a new application programming interface. The firm's new Zazzle Create-a-Product API allows third party websites to connect into Zazzle's customization tools and services. Zazzle is allows anyone to upload their own artwork and create custom t-shirts, mugs, posters, and other customized products. Zazzle said that Dogster.com/Catster.com, TheFreeDictionary.com, TheFamilyPost.com, and other web sites are already using the new API. Zazzle is backed by Kleiner Perkins and Sherpalo Ventures.
