Liquid Engines Raises $5.5M

Sunnyvale-based Liquid Engines has raised $5.5M in Series C funding. The round included existing investors The Carlyle Group, Advanced Technology Ventures, Charles River Ventures, and Catamount Ventures. The firm said that the funding will be used to fuel expansion, including product development, professional services, sales, and marketing. Liquid Engines develops corporate tax management software.
