Yahoo Places Ads On Mobile Phones

Sunnyvale-based Yahoo today said that it has begun a beta launch of advertising for the firm's mobile phone service. Yahoo said its Mobile Web service will start featuring advertisements, allowing advertisers to reach customers via their mobile phones. The advertising will start running later this week. Yahoo's mobile web service allows users to access Yahoo's online services via cell phone.
