Fliptrack Mashes Photos, Music

Mountain View-based Fliptrack said today it has launched a new online service for creating photo-music mash-ups. The new service allows consumers to create photo slideshows using their digital photos and the firm's own licensed set of music. The online service generates flash-based videos and can be embedded into web pages and blogs. The firm's launch comes as online video slideshow firms are gaining venture capital attention, with the latest firm in the space, Slide, just announcing its funding yesterday. Fliptrack is a division of iPlayMusic.
