Danger Gets Investment From Sharp

Palo Alto-based Danger, a provider of mobile Internet software and services, has received a strategic investment round from Sharp Corporation, the firm reported today. The amount of the funding was not disclosed. Danger said it will use the funding as part of its ongoing growth efforts. Sharp has been an OEM for Danger since 2004, and develops a device that connects to Danger's mobile Internet service. Danger is backed by Redpoint Ventures, SoftBank Capital, Mobius Venture Capital, and T-Mobile. More information »
