Vinfolio Launches Online Wine Valuation Service

San Francisco-based Vinfolio, an online retailer of wine, said Thursday that it has launched a free, automated wine valuation engine targeted at wine collectors. The firm said it will allow collectors to track the value of their wine collections much like tracking stocks, showing estimated replacement value and sale values in a portfolio. The firm said it will combine retail data and auction prices for the service. The retail data is being licensed from Wine-Searcher.
