VMware Buys Dunes Technologies

Palo Alto-based VMware said Tuesday that it has acquired Dunes Technologies, a provider of management software for the firm's virtualization environment. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Dunes Technologies is based in Lausanne, Switzerland, and was founded in 2001; the firm is backed by Affentranger Associates.
