Provigent Finds $16M In Fourth Round

Santa Clara-based Provigent said today that it has raised $16M in a venture capital round. The fourth round of funding for the firm came from Globespan Capital Partners, along with existing investors Sequoia Capital, Pitango Venture Capital, Magnum Communications Fund, Ascend Technology Ventures, Delta Ventures, and Dr. Andrew Viterbi. Provigent is developing systems-on-a-chip (SoC) for broadband wireless.
