Cisco Buys NeoPath Networks
San Jose-based Cisco Systems said Tuesday that it has acquired privatey held NeoPath Networks, a provider of file storage management software. Santa Clara-based NeoPath develops virtualization technology used for network attached storage (NAS). Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The deal is expected to close in Cisco's third quarter, whcih ends April 28th.
