JDSU Acquires Innocor

Milpitas-based JDSU said Thursday afternoon that it is in an agreement to purchase Innocor, an Ottawa, Canaada-based provider of broadband test products. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. JDSU said Innocor's products will complement its existing lab and production test solutions. The acquisition is expected to close by June 30th. Innocor's products are used for bit error rate testing (BERT) testing for broadband networks like 10G Ethernet, and SONET/SDH/OTN.
