Fabrik Raises $24.9M

San Mateo-based Fabrik has scored $24.9M in a Series D funding, the firm said today, in a new round of funding from 3i and ComVentures. Fabrik said that Jim McLean of 3i will join the firm's board of directors as part of the funding, and that it has also added former Fox Interactive Media head Ross Levinsohn to its board. Fabrik is developing storage and content management services. The firm said that the funding will go towards expanding in U.S. and international markets. Fabrik also sells flash memory, USB flash drives, and memory upgrades through its SimpleTech brand. More information »
