Wesabe Closes $4M

Berkeley-based Wesabe, a startup developing online personal finance software, said Wednesday that it has closed a $4M Series A round of funding from Union Square Ventures. O'Reilly AlphaTech Ventures, the seed investor in the firm, also participated. Wesabe said it will use the funding to expand its product development and marketing. Wesabe had previously raised $700K in funding from O'Reilly in March. Wesabe is developing a web-based, financial management tool for tracking personal spending and financial information.
