Wesabe Launches Mobile Banking Software

San Francisco-based Wesabe, which is backed by O'Reilly AlphaTech Ventures and Union Square Ventures, said earlier this week that it has launched a mobile version of the firm's web-based financial management tool. The firm said that the new software allows users of web-enabled cell phones and PDA to monitor their banks and credit cards. According to Wesabe the new service allows users to view account balances, see recent transactions, and enter cash purchases made when shopping into the service. Wesabe raised a $4M round of funding in June for its services, which is aiming at helping people with their personal finances.
