Zoho Trumpets Customer Numbers

Pleasanton, California-based Zoho announced this morning that the online application provider has signed up 300,000 customers for the firm's service. The Web 2.0 site, which is a project from software developer AdventNet, said that 100,000 of those customers signed on to the firm's services in the last four months. Zoho did not give numbers on how many of those customers are actual, active users, a more closely watched benchmark than registrations. Most online web sites have far fewer active users than registered users. Zoho is an online web site that provides office productivity applications, including a word processor, online spreadsheet, notebook application, CRM tools, and other common applications.
