Intuit Completes Homestead Acquisition

Mountain View-based Intuit said Tuesday afternoon that it has completed its acquisition of Homestead Technologies. Intuit paid approximately $170M for Menlo Park-based Homestead. The deal had been announced in late November. Homestead will become part of Intuit's small business group. Homestead offered web site creation and e-commerce tools targeted at the small business market.
