Cisco Completes Navini Networks Buy
San Jose-based networking giant Cisco said Wednesday morning that it has completed its acquisition of Navini Networks. The deal was worth $330M in cash, and was originally announced in October. Cisco said it plans to integrate Navini into its Wireless Technology Group, under its Access Networking and Services Group. Navini is a developer of WiMAX products, and was venture backed by Arcapita Ventures, Austin Ventures, Granite Ventures, Intel Capital, Lehman Brothers Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, and Sternhill Partners.
