FriendFeed Raises $5M

Mountain View-based FriendFeed said today that it has raised $5M in a Series A funding and launched its site. The funding came from Benchmark Capital along with Friendfeed co-founders Paul Buchheit and Sanjeev Singh. The firm operates an online aggregation service which allows friends and family to see shared web pages, photos, videos, and music. The site pulls updates from social networking and other social sites such as Flickr, YouTube, and Yelp, into a single, consolidated view. More information »
