FriendFeed Goes International

Mountain View-based FriendFeed said that it has launched a new set of international interfaces for the firm's services. FriendFeed, which develops a service that aggregates multiple online social networking and related web sites in a single interface, said that it now supports French, German, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, and simplified Chinese, on top of its existing English support. The firm said that the almost one-third of the site's users already use its services in a language other than English. FriendFeed connects updates from social networking sites like Facebook, instant messaging services like Twitter, photos from sites like Flickr, and videos from YouTube all into a single interface where users and their contacts can comment on their updates.
