ShareThis Raises $15M

ShareThis, a Dublin, Ohio-based company with offices in San Francisco, said Thursday that it has raised $15M in a venture capital round led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson. Other investors in the round were not disclosed. ShareThis, which was formerly known as Nextumi, operates a service that allows users to post content across social networking sites, blogs, news sites, photo sites, and more. The firm's software works with Blogger, WordPress, and Typepad. Sharethis has previously received funding from Blue Chip Venture Company, Illinois Ventures, DFJ Mercury, Queen City Angels and RPM Ventures. More information »
