SandForce Gets Series B Funding
Cupertino-based SandForce, a company developing systems-on-a-chip for improving storage I/O performance, has quietly raised a Series B round of funding, silicontap.com has learned. Details of the funding and timing have not been released, however the funding came from Doll Capital Management and Storm Ventures. SandForce is headed by Alex Naqvi, formerly CEO and founder of Luminous Networks; the firm's CTO Radoslav Danilak is from NVIDIA, as is the firm's VP of Engineering, Amaresh Kumar. Carl Amdahl of DCM and Ryan Floyd of Storm sit on the firm's board of directors. More information »
