Keynote Buys French Software Firm
San Mateo-based Keynote Systems said today that it has acquired Zandan, a French developer of technology for testing, service, and handset acceptance for the mobile industry, in a $3M deal. Keynote said that the deal gives the firm exclusive rights to technology used in its Mobile Application Perspective product. The deal is expected to be accretive to the firm's fiscal year 2009. Zandan is a 14 person firm which was founded by former CTO Jerome Jacq, who joined Keynote in 2007.
