JAJAH Ties Into Chumby

Mountain View-based JAJAH said Wednesday that it has rolled out a widget for the Chumby information gadget, which is a Linux-based, wireless Internet information device from Chumby Industries. According to JAJAH, users of the Chumby can now make local and global phone calls through the device. JAJAH is a provider of voice-over-IP telephone services, and is backed by Deutsche Telekom, Intel Capital, and others. San Diego-based Chumby is venture backed by JK&B Capital, Avalon Ventures, Masthead Venture Partners, and O'Reilly AlphaTech Ventures.
