Salesforce.com Expands In Singapore
San Francisco-based CRM software firm Salesforce.com said Wednesday that the firm has selected Singapore for the firm's first international data center. Salesforce said the data center is expected to go live before the end of the year, and will serve the firm's international customer base. Salesforce.com said the new center will also include a Network Operations Center (NOC) and headcount to monitor the firm's data centers in North America and Singapore. Salesforce.com said its Asia Pacific customers include AAPT, Acer, Amcor, CGU Insurance, Challenger Financial Services, Datacraft, Flight Centre, Hang Seng Bank, Mizuho Private Wealth Management, Ottagi, Ramco, SPH Search, VSNL and Telecom New Zealand.
