DFJ Gives $250K To Business Plan Competition Winner
Menlo Park-basd Draper Fisher Jurvetson, and affiliated fund DFJ Frontier and Zone Ventures, said Friday that it has invested $250,000 in a startup called NeuroVigil, the winner of the annual DFJ Venture Challenge. NeuroVigil is focused on using brain analysis to treat sleep disorders, and was founded by a graduate student at the Salk Institute. DFJ's Venture Challenge this year included 16 teams from 12 universities who presented their business plans and answered questions from venture capitalists, angel investors, and others.
