Glam Snags Meyers From Sheknows.com, Adds Family Vertical

Brisbane, California and New York-based Glam Media, an operator of a network of web sites focused on women, said today that it has hired on former Sheknows.com President and CEO Mike Meyers as head of a new family oriented vertical. Glam Media said that Meyers will become VP and GM of Glam Family, a new parenting focused vertical for the firm. According to Glam, the new vertical will focus on all things parenting, pregnancy, and baby-related. Meyers was head of Sheknow.com until its recent acquisition by Atomic Online; Glam said that Meyers developed and managed SheKnows.com's Pregnancyandbaby.com, Pointsandprizes.com, Chefmom.com, Pregnancyfashion.com and Geoparent.com properties.
