Trimble Buys Surveying Equipment Firm
Sunnyvale-based Trimble announced today that it has acquired SECO Manufacturing Company, a Redding-based manufacturer of accessories for the surveying industry. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to Trimble, SECO manufactures and distributes accessories for surveying instruments, including lasers, robotics, mapping, and global position system (GPS) products. Trimble said the move complements its acquisition of Crain Enterprises, which it announced in January.
