Roxio Launches New Slideshow Service

Santa Clara-based Roxio has launched a new web slideshow service, the firm said this morning. Roxio, which is a division of Sonic Solutions, said its new Roxio online with PhotoShow service allows families to turn photos and video clips into a multimedia slideshow. The new service is available for free, with a premium service offering additional slide show themes, graphics, and other enhanced services. Roxio is targeting families and others with the new service, which is designed to link to social networking sites and personal web pages. The premium version of the service costs $39.99 a year.
