Guard ID Systems Locks In $11M
San Mateo-based Guard ID Systems, which develops online identity theft prevention services and software, said Wednesday that it has raised $11M in a Series B financing. The round was led by Prism VentureWorks, and also included Intersections, Inc. and Trinity Ventures. Guard ID said it has created an Internet security solution that combines hardware and software services, targeted at protecting consumers from identity theft and fraud. Jim Counihan of Prism and Michael Stanfield of Intersections join the board along with the funding. More information »
