InMage Pulls In $15M For Storage Software

Santa Clara-based InMage Systems said Tuesday that it has raised $15M in a third round of funding, for the firm's disaster recover and continuous data protection software. According to InMage, the round was led by Intel Capital, and also included Hummer winblad Venture Partners and individual Kumar Malavalli. Malavalli was founder and CTO of Brocade. According to InMage, the new funding will go to expand its sales channels, accelerate worldwide expansion, product development, and engineering. InMage's software provide CDP and disaster recovery for the storage market; the software is specifically targeted and small and medium sized businesses. More information »
