Agilent Gets $45M Army Contract

Santa Clara-based Agilent said Monday that its wholly owned subsidiary, NetworkFab, has been awarded a $5M, five year SBIR contract from the U.S. Army. According to Agilent, the contract will go towards technology used for the search, identification and collection of tactical targets. The Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Phase III Contract was with the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center’s Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate at Fort Monmouth, NJ. Agilent bought NetworkFab in August of 2007.
