Oracle Buys Haley
Redwood Shores-based database giant Oracle said late Wednesday that it has acquired RuleBurst Holdings Limited, the parent company of policy modeling and automation software maker Haley Limited. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. According to Oracle, the buy will go towards creating a packaged software solution for social services agencies. Haley's software is used for automating the entitlement and operations of social services agencies. Oracle said it expects the transaction to close in Q1 of 2009.
