Virage Logic Makes Bid For LogicVision

Fremont-based Virage Logic said Wednesday that it is looking to acquire San Jose-based LogicVision for $1.05 per share in cash. The deal is worth approximately $10M. Virage Logic said it made the unsolicited bid, after LogicVision rejected the firm's suggestion for acquisition discussions in November. LogicVision is a developer of semiconductor testing and diagnostics technology. LogicVision said it would consult its financial and legal advisors on the proposal.
