Synopsys Completes CHIPit Acquisition

Mountain View-based Synopsys said Thursday that it has completed its acquisition of the CHIPit business unit of ProDesign. CHIPit provides high-speed ASIC and system-on-a-chip verification tools. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed. Synopsys first announced the deal on December 3rd.
