Synopsys Completes Simpleware Buy

Mountain View-based electronic design automation software developer Synopsys said Tuesday that it has completed its acquisition of Simpleware, which develops software for converting 3D scans into computer models. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Synopsys said Simpleware's products are used in the life sciences, consumer products, aerospace, automotive, defense, oil and gas industries.
