Genesys Buys Two Firms

Daly City-based Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, which is a subsidiary of Alcatel-Lucent, said today that it has acquired two companies, including a provider of thin client software, SDE Software Development Engineering GmbH, and enterprise management software provider Conseros, based in New Brunswick, Canada. Financial terms of the two acquisitions was not disclosed. SDE Software Development Engineering develops a web-based, thing client software product used for self-service contact center interaction for enterprise customers. SDE is a spinout of VoicInt Telecommunications GmbH. Conseros develops software for prioritizing tasks and optimizing customer service work, and will become part of the Genesys Application Software Group.
