DemandTec Agrees to Acquire Connect3 Systems

San Carlos-based DemandTec Inc., a publisher of on-demand marketing and merchandizing optimization software, announced Monday that it has agreed to acquire Connect3 Systems Inc., a maker of promotional planning software headquartered in Cerritos. Financial terms of the all-cash deal, which DemandTec said it expects to close by the end of next month, were not disclosed. According to DemandTec, its board of directors has already approved the transaction, which must still satisfy customary closing conditions. DemandTec added that more details will be shared once the deal has closed.
